Our Sencha tea is a kind of loose whole-leaf Steamed green tea, made from our small-leaf tea plants, after picking, we steam the fresh leaves quickly to prevent oxidization and lock the green color and flavor, then the leaves are rolled, shaped and dried. We get a heavy green tea rope, tight and straight, like needles, fresh taste can be described as vegetal, green, seaweedy, or grassy taste.
Because of the moderate to low levels of caffeine, our Sencha tea can provide a nice boost without keeping you up at night. Depending on the variety and brew, our Sencha tea can contain between 12～75 milligrams of caffeine, there is around 20～30 milligrams in most cups because of a short brew time, meanwhile, our Sencha is typically roasted, has lower levels of caffeine than most of all shade-grown green tea, which has a higher levels of caffeine.
