Tap water and Pure water, which one is better for making tea?

China has always an old saying "three parts tea and seven parts water", it means that the water is more important than tea for making tea water. We all know our ancients use many types of water to make tea, such as river water, snow water, well water, spring water, snow water, etc. While you know, at present, most of people can use only the tap water and pure water to make tea.

I have always been curious so long time about which one is better, so I conducted twice experiments. The first time, I making two cups of tea soup by 3g Huangshan Maofeng brewing for five minutes, only the water is different, one cup I use boiled tap water, another one I use boiled pure water(C'estbon brand). The second time, I making two cups of tea soup by 3g Keemun Black tea brewing for five minutes, only the water is different, one cup I use boiled tap water, another one I use boiled pure water (Wahaha brand) .

After the twice experiments, I note that the tap water tea soup color is slightly darker, which aroma is a bit stronger, and the flavor is more rich. So I personally think that our daily drinking tap water is better than the common pure water on market for making tea.
